B.Sc. Food Science & Quality Control

Eligibility Criteria :-

Any woman who has successfully cleared 10+2 from the recognized Boards in Home Science/Science by the Government of India/respective state or have required credits as per the government norms to be able to join undergraduate programme. Student having studied Chemistry at 10+2 will be given preference.

B.Sc. Clinical Laboratory Science

Eligibility Criteria :-

1. Female candidates with 12th Science in PCB Pass out

2. Female candidates with 3 years full time DMLT course approved by DTE, AICTE and State government are eligible for Direct Second Year admission.

(Note: Admissions will be based on Merit)

B.A. in Fashion Design

Eligibility Criteria :-

10+2 pass in any stream - Arts/Commerce/Science/Home Science/Minimum Competency Vocational Course (MCVC) including National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) Minimum Eligibility - 45%

B.Sc. Information Technology

Eligibility Criteria :-

B.Sc.IT –First Year:

A candidate for being eligible for admission to the course leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (as per revised NEP 2020) must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XII) examination conducted by the different Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in Science stream with 45% marks (40% for candidates belonging to Reserved category) with the following subjects :-

• English

• Any one of the Modern Indian Languages or Modern Foreign Languages or any classical Language or Information Technology/ Any four Science subjects carrying 100 marks each.

OR

• English

• Any one vocational subject carrying 200 marks

• Any three Science subjects carrying 100 marks each.

OR

Must have passed an examination of any other recognized Board or Body Recognized as equivalent.

Students who have not done mathematics at 12th Std. are needed to take a bridge course in mathematics and pass in university conducted test before semester 1 examination.

OR

1. Must have passed any three year Government recognized Diploma programme in Second Class.

B.Sc.IT II Year :

• For a student from our University - should have cleared or has ATKT as admissible in first year in the same subject.

• For a student from another University - studied at least 12 credits of major(core) courses in the first year and passed first year without ATKT.

• Should have passed three years Govt./ D.T.E. recognized Diploma Course with First Class and without ATKT.

B.Sc.IT III Year:

• For a student from our University - should have cleared second year in the same subject or has passed with admissible ATKT.

For a student from another university– should have completed at least 28 credits of major(core) courses in the first and second year and passed first and second year without ATKT.

B.Sc.IT IV Year:

• For a student from our University /another university- should have completed three years degree in the same discipline


B.A. Mass Media & Journalism

Eligibility Criteria :-

Any woman who has successfully cleared 10+2 from the recognized Boards or equivalent diploma in any stream of study by the Government of India/respective state and has required credits as per the government norms to be able to join undergraduate programme.

B.Sc. Chemistry

Eligibility Criteria :-

12th standard Science

B.HSc. Nutrition & Dietetics

Eligibility Criteria :-

Any woman who has successfully cleared 10+2 with Science/Home Science subjects from the recognized Boards by the Government of India/respective state or have required credits as per the government norms to be able to join undergraduate programme.

B.HSc. Food Science & Nutrition

Eligibility Criteria :-

Any woman who has successfully cleared 10+2 in Home Science/Science subject from the recognized Boards by the Government of India/respective state with required credits as per the government norms to be able to join undergraduate programme.

B.HSc. Fashion & Apparel Design

Eligibility Criteria :-

Eligibility Criteria for Admitting Students in First Year in B.Sc Fashion Apparel Design Program

1. Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc-I Year

i. Passed 12th grade in any stream.

ii. Completed a full-time diploma of at least two years

after 10th grade from SNDT or any recognized

university/board

iii. For NRI & Foreign students, an equivalence

certificate from the Association of Indian Universities

(AIU), New Delhi.

2. Criteria for Selecting Students for the 1st Year

(Entry-Level):

- Colleges will conduct aptitude tests covering general knowledge, language skills, and creativity through studio tests.

- Students will be considered for provisional admission based on their test performance.

- Provisionally admitted students must pass the 12thgrade exam or its equivalent with at least 45%.

- Colleges with fewer applications may fill seats subject to availability and will still conduct aptitude tests.

- Reservation policies of the Government of Maharashtra and SNDT University Mumbai will be followed.

- If there are fewer applicants, seats may be filled based on availability, and interviews may be conducted.

- CET (Common Entrance Test) is not compulsory. Colleges may conduct their own tests.

- If a college does not conduct CET, preference will be given to academic records (minimum 45% required).

M.Sc. Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics

Eligibility Criteria :-

Any student who has passed 12" Standard/HSc/10+2 with Science and successfully completed graduation in Nutrition related subjects with minimum 50%/B Grade is eligible. Students with Commerce/Arts/Pure Science are not eligible. Students having graduation in Life Science, Bio Chemistry, and Physlology are eligible provided they have secured a minimum of 60% or 'A' grade in their Undergraduate degree and have Studied minimum eight credits of

nutrition/Physiology/bio- chemistry related subjects in their graduation Students who have done B.Sc. Composite Home Science/ BA Home Economics/ Home Science/ BSc. Hospitality/ Institutional/ Food Service Management are not eligible.

M.Sc. Microbiology

Eligibility Criteria :-

A. Any life science graduate with minimum score 50%.

B. Science graduate with PGDMLT.

C. Any agricultural technology graduate with minimum score 50%.

M.Sc. Nutrition & Food Processing

Eligibility Criteria :-

A) Students who have a minimum 50% or B Grade in an Undergraduate program with degree in B.Sc. Food Science and Quality Control, Food Science and Nutrition, Foods and Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, Nutrition and Dietetics, Public Health and Nutrition, Applied Nutrition, B.Sc. Home Science (Hon. with Food Science and Nutrition/Food Technology). B) Students who have a minimum 60% or A Grade in Undergraduate program with degree in B.Sc. or B. Voc. in Food Technology/ Food Processing, Post-Harvest Technology, B. Tech (Food), Food Technology and Management, Microbiology, Biotechnology.

M.Sc. Computer Science

Eligibility Criteria :-

A woman Graduate in BSc. (Physics), BSc. (Maths.), BSc. (Elect.), BSc. (IT), B.Sc. (CS) or BCA or any engineering graduate in allied subject from the recognized university with an aggregate marks not less than 50% (Open Category) and 45%(Reserved category).
